Subject: “Great Looking Mini-Sites In Minutes”

Dear Fellow Entrepreneur,

They say good things come to those who wait… but I say 'maybe'.

Sometimes… waiting is the wrong thing to do.

Take mini-site design. If you want to get high-quality graphic design done for your online business, then you usually have to get on the dance card of one of the top graphic guns for hire.

And that dance card is often filled for weeks — maybe even months in advance.

Not to mention, the top designers command top dollar (can you blame them for getting paid well for their great skills? I sure can't.)

So you're left in a pickle with only have a few options to choose from…

Option #1: You can hire someone who can do your minisite design pronto and hope they can do great work.

Option #2: You can hire someone who works cheap… and hope that you're catching a rising star before everyone else does.

Option #3: You can try to make the minisite design yourself.

Now, if you're like me, you probably can't make heads or tails out of PhotoShop.

I can remember my first attempts at doing my own graphics. They were so bad that my wife jokingly said our 4 year old daughter could come up with something better.

To be honest, my wife was probably right. And as much as I hate to say it, I used to be a complete klutz at graphic design.

At least I was until one day I went…

From All Thumbs To Self-Confident Graphics Pro…

For a number of years, I was completely clueless on how to create my own graphics and minisite designs.

Heck, I couldn't even make heads or tails out of the graphics program that came bundled with my web design software!

And PhotoShop… well, everyone kept telling me it was even harder to learn than Fireworks, so I didn't even bother trying.

Even a simple graphic tweak like changing the font color or style on a graphic seemed to elude me.

I remember once being asked by another marketer if I had a head shot photo I could email him. He wanted the photo to go with my testimonial for his product.

The embarrassing part was, the only photo I had to email him was a full body shot. I didn't know how to crop (that's designer talk for cutting an image out of a bigger picture) my own photo to make a simple head shot

Fortunately, he was really nice and created the head shot for me.

As a professional copywriter, I used to insist that my clients
hire a graphic designer to do all of the site's graphic work.

I'd tell them that I was being hired for writing sales copy that produce a lot of sales — not to make them minisites.

So I'd suggest they hire a graphic designer to “complement” my sales copy.

Sometimes they listened to my recommendations and hired a top pro.

Other times, they decided to hire someone who did cheap work... and the results were often a complete disaster.

Some of the cheap minisite designs were so bad that I'd have to tell my clients we couldn't use them.

Because if we did, it would knock their conversion rates down in a hurry.

A few times we wound up using a stock salesletter template because it looked better than what their inexpensive graphic designer had cooked up.

Everytime I'd see one of these crappy minisites, I'd think
to myself, “I wish I could help my client fix their lousy minisite designs”…

The problem was… I was probably even worse at design then the sub-par graphic designer my clients had hired.

I felt embarrassed that I wasn't able to help my clients turn a weak site design into a strong one.

I felt frustrated that my high-quality sales copy... was surrounded by mediocre minisite design.

There were way too many times when my client asked me to "direct" their designer on what exactly I needed them to create to complement the salesletter... and the designer would deliver something that took over the entire look of the site.

Their design might have looked big and beautiful but… a minisite design needs to help your sales copy make more sales, not overpower it!

Then one day, I had finally reached the point of no return.

A copywriting client of mine had decided to save a few bucks and hire a dirt-cheap graphic designer.

When top designers were quoting $100-200 for a minisite design, my client decided to hire someone for $20…

…and the results were a complete disaster!

I told my client to make their designer redo the minisite.

The designer came back with another layout that was even worse than the first one.

I kept insisting we couldn't use it and we needed something better.

After two weeks and three rounds of "do-over's", my client finally agreed with me to completely scrap the lousy minisite designs and go with a plain white webpage for the salesletter instead.

I felt completely disgusted.

I was sure I could do a better job than what the $20 designer came up with.

Heck, I figured my 4 year old could probably come up a better design using crayons and construction paper!

I was tired of feeling powerless.

I was tired of feeling frustrated while I waited weeks until a top-notch graphic designer had an opening to work on my latest project.

And I was tired of feeling like the whole situation was out of my control.

So I started doing some research… I even made a few calls to other marketers I knew that had some seriously good design skills.

Almost every one of them told me the same thing: Study the top designers' work.

That's when I made an amazing discovery…

You see, I found the perfect training videos. These videos were created by Graphics Genie — one of the very best graphic design companies online today.

I went slowly through the videos (I didn't want to make a single mistake) and later that day, I had created my first minisite design. Best of all, it looked great.

I enjoyed the videos so much… I bought
the licensing rights to them!

I was pumped about my newfound design skills. I even told a few friends of mine who were just as clumsy as graphic design about these videos.

But then one day, I got an email that changed everything.

I got an email that Graphics Genie would no longer be selling these videos to the general public. Instead, they had decided to offer a very limited number of selling licenses for these videos available .

I quickly took action and grabbed one of the few licenses available before the licensing offer was closed forever.

So you see, my fast action has helped keep a great resource available to a lot of people like you who want to create their own great looking minisite designs.

Would you like to discover more about these minisite design videos?

Well…

Introducing Codename: Project Minisite

… Your Secret Weapon To Great Looking, Professional Quality Conversion-Boosting Minisites In Mere Minutes!

At first, I wasn't sure if I should offer this product. You see, I'm not a professional graphic designer.

It wasn't that long ago that I flat-out stunk at graphic design myself... I thought how could I say that these videos are top-notch when I've only been able to do my own graphics for a short time?

For years, I couldn't figure out how to draw
a line in my graphic design software…

It wasn't until I discovered these training videos that I could create my own great-looking minisite designs.

So I started thinking, “What if other copywriters got as good at quickly replacing crappy salesletter layouts as me? Will that cost me a lot of new potential copywriting clients?”

Then I thought, “What if my info-product competition got wind that this is a really easy way to lift your conversion rates as much as 25 or 30% virtually overnight?”

Could that mean some of their lost customers wouldn't move onto my sites and buy from me instead?

But then I realized I was being selfish.

You see, it's not very likely that you are a copywriter. And if you are, you probably don't work in the same niches and with the same types of clients that I do.

If you're an information marketer, then what are the odds that you are selling products in the same niches as me?

Honestly, I don't see either scenario being very likely.

That's why I decided to make this video training program available for purchase by the general public.

That's why I've taken the 29 video lessons and broken them into easy to manage (and even easier to review) power training sessions.

But That's Not All…

Now you may not realize it but… being able to create your own minisite designs is a really valuable skill.

Like real good copywriters… anyone who has good graphic design skills can easily find freelance work online.

And if you become really good… well, let's just say there's a real good reason why the top graphic designers are always booked weeks or even months in advance.

Doing freelance graphic design can be an instant cash business.

If you ever find yourself needing some quick cash, you can hit any of the popular online marketing forums or freelancers-for-hire websites.

Once there, you can usually get a number of cash-paying clients pretty quickly.

I'm talking about the types of clients who will gladly pay you to create high-quality minisite designs for their business.

4 More Reasons Why You'd Be
Completely Nuts To Ignore This Minisite Design Training…

Keep money in your own pocket — instead of lining the pockets of another graphic designer…

Start your own graphic design service and get on-demand access to your own instant cash business

Create your own minisite template sets that you can sell… Just imagine how cool it would be to making money again and again off templates that you create once!

Take virtually any minisite template and tweak to your heart's delight. Hate the look of the header on a template? You'll know exactly how to quickly change it fast…

Forget About Shotgun Style Learning…

Look, there's a ton of Photoshop tutorials scattered through the Internet.

Remove the red-eye from a photo? Check. Add a border to a family portrait to look more formal? Yup, Photoshop can that too.

The problem is, most tutorials are completely useless if you're trying to create a minisite.

Worse, some of these video tutorials jump all over the place, trying to cover everything about PhotoShop.

Some of them seem like they drag on forever.

They take hours to cover what they *think* is important… but still miss the “gotta know” stuff you need to know to make a high-quality minisite.

That's one of the things I really like about these videos. There's no fluff or filler.

These videos give you the quick and dirty, straight to the point, techniques to quickly create your own minisites.

Look, you want a minisite that looks professional and doesn't cheapen the appearance of your product.

You want a minisite that looks top-notch without having to wait weeks (or even months) and spending a chunk of your hard-earned cash to get them.

And if you're like me, you want to get the exact training you need to do it quickly and easily — not take hours and hours in the "student" mode reviewing a bunch of really long videos.

By now, you might be thinking…

“Mike, I'm Not Sure… I Usually Just Use A Template”

I understand. In the past, I've been known to grab a template and use it for one of my own info-product sites.

The problem with templates is… well, most of them are pretty shoddy-looking. And even when you do find one that looks great… well, many times it's been downloaded hundreds — maybe even thousands of times by other people.

If you're like me, you don't want your site to look like hundreds of other sites online… especially if they are in the same exact niche as yours!

If you're like me, you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars to get a great looking minisite…

And if you're like me, you don't want to use a website design that is going to hurt your conversion rates either…

If you're like me, you don't want to wait weeks to get on a graphic designers when you can create exactly what you want in minutes instead!

That's why tapping into the expert training found inside Codename: Project Minisite makes so much sense.

But that's not all…

Act Now And I'll Give You Even More…

Do you like having a step-by-step guide that you can use to follow training videos? Me too.

That's why I've included this Training Guide — complete with screen capture shots of what exactly is being done — that way you can follow along even easier.

Here's where other training videos get quickly left behind…

I've arranged to get nine additional videos and they're yours with your paid order.

You'll discover important things that aren't covered in other videos like:

A slow-loading site can knock your response rates down in a hurry… You'll discover how to set up your minisite design so it loads quickly…

How to create matching order buttons…

How to craft eye-catching testimonial boxes…

And lots more…

So what do you put in your own minisites?

Well, most graphic designers use royalty-free photos and pictures. You can find (and buy) some great ones at places like istock.com… or you can use some of mine.

I've obtained the licensing rights to a graphic package set that I've never offered anywhere else. This 900+ graphic set contains a wide variety of great graphics.

Now, creating your own minisites is great but sometimes you need extra graphics like floating cash or social media icons to do it.

Instead of having to hunt them down and pay for them on a royalty-free site, you can quickly look in this collection.

Best of all, you get this collection with your investment in Codename: Project Minisite.

You'll get additional high-quality photos, images, and graphics — not clipart — of great things like:

Beautiful Testimonial Boxes…

Eye-Catching Order Buttons…

Certficates, Bullets, and Credit Card Logos…

And lots more…

Simply review the Codename: Project Minisite collection and these 9 advanced training videos and you are literally poised for a major breakthrough.

It's the type of breakthrough that you'll be ready to start commanding serious fees as a professional graphic designer.

Or if you prefer, you can use your new-found skills to create a killer edge for your own info-product business.

Either way, this bonus gives you a serious professional boost and is easily worth hundreds of dollars... but it's yours free with your one-time investment in Codename Project Minisite.

But let me make the decision even easier for you. I want to take all of the risk off of your shoulders and put it onto my own.

Here's what I mean…

How Much Could You Spend For Graphic Design Training?

Believe it or not, you could spend thousands of dollars going to a “brick and mortar” graphic design school.

At the end of their training, you'll have a graduation certificate… a gaping hole in your wallet… and be no closer to understanding how to create minisite graphics that actually increase your conversion rates. (It's like getting trained on how to fly the space shuttle when you want to learn how to ride a bicycle.)

Look, you could spend hundreds getting privately trained by a top graphic designer… if you can find one with the time and inclination to teach you.

The thing is, the top designers are frequently booked weeks, even months in advance… so it's not like they have loads of free time left to do private mentoring.

But here's the good news: You don't have to spend thousands of dollars to learn how to create your own great-looking minisite designs.

You don't have to spend hundreds either. Just the small one-time investment of $37 gets you complete access to the Codename: Project Minisite training program.

Frequently Asked Questions

1) What software do you recommend for graphic design?

I recommend getting Adobe PhotoShop version CS2 or newer. You can check Ebay for licensed used copies of PhotoShop.

Adobe.com offers a free 30 day trial on the latest versions as well, so you could grab the Codename: Project Minisite training… go through it… post a few ads in online forums, freelance sites, or even CraigsList and quickly raise the funds to pay for the latest version of PhotoShop before the 30 day trial expires.

2) I think PhotoShop is expensive. Any cheaper options?

Let me give you two other options.

Option #1: Gimp is an open source graphic design program which is free to download and use. I've never used it but I've heard from more than one source that it's very similar to PhotoShop.

Option #2: Adobe Fireworks which is what I use. When I got started online, I bought Macromedia's Dreamweaver MX2004 which came packaged with Fireworks. Since then, Adobe has bought out Macromedia and add some serious horsepower under the hood under Fireworks to make it practically “PhotoShop Jr”.

Even with the extra 'oomph' added and it's being sold by the same company, Fireworks is significantly cheaper than PhotoShop.

I've personally used Fireworks CS4 to go through these videos and was able to do about 75-85% of the same exact steps shown.

3) How much difference can a minisite design make?

A lot. Based on my research and testing, I've found that a well-design minisite design can increase conversion rates by 25-30%! If you increase your site's sales by 25-30%, then it can add some major monies to your bottom line every year.

4) I have other questions. How do I contact you?

You can use the contact email listed inside Codename: Project Minisite or the contact form found on my blog at http://www.michaelhumphreys.com
